Conductivity and Turbidity Sensor for the HI9829 Multiparameter Portable Meter - HI7609829-4


The HI7609829-4 is a combined conductivity and turbidity sensor for use with Hanna’s HI9829 Multiparameter Portable Meter. The sensor body is constructed of durable ABS and epoxy material. The 4-ring conductivity sensor contains AISI 316 stainless steel electrodes that are not subject to polarization or surface coating effects. By design, turbidity measurements conform to ISO 7027 standards using an optical technique to measure suspended particles in water.

Durable Sensor Body

The ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) sensor body is suitable for a wide range of applications and excels in field measurements due to its durability. The shielding around the electrodes minimizes breakage due to accidental bumping or dropping. The ABS plastic is a high-quality plastic that is chemically resistant to many harsh chemicals.

4-Ring Stainless Steel Electrodes

A 4-ring electrode design allow for reduced polarization and surface coating effects over an extended linear range of measurement. Stainless steel electrode construction makes for a durable sensor in field conditions.

ISO 7027 Compliant Turbidity Sensor

The Hanna turbidity sensor conforms to ISO 7027 standards which specifies the angle between the emitted and detected light and the light source wavelength.
