The HI96784-25 are reagents for the colorimetric determination of nitrite. There are enough reagents for 25 tests to be used with Hanna’s compatible photometers. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.
The HI96784-25 contain high quality, premeasured reagents that, allowing users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents use an adaptation of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 23rd Edition, 4500B Diazotization Method, Nitrogen Nitrite. Nitrite is determined through formation of a reddish-purple azo dye produced in acidic solution by coupling diazotized sulfanilamide with aromatic amines.
