The HI98143 is part of a family of blind transmitter that can be used in water treatment and hydroponic applications. These meters have inputs for both pH and EC probes. The pH probe input uses a common BNC connector while EC has a direct wire connection for use with Hanna’s EC probes that incorporate an NTC sensor for temperature compensation.

The HI98143 is available in four models based on the analog output signal required.

  • Blind transmitter for pH and EC (up to 10 mS/cm)
  • Choice of analog output in voltage or current
  • Powered or loop powered analog outputs

Direct Connection

Direct connection of the probes to the transmitter assures a positive electrical connection with no signal loss. This transmitter is ideal for remote process control applications.

Output Signals

Four models are available, transmitting a 0-1 V, 0-4 V or 4-20 mA signal. The output signals are proportional to the input signals but independent of changes in load or cable capacitance.

Automatic Temperature Compensation

Compensation for the effects of temperature for EC measurements is performed by the transmitters’ Automatic Temperature Compensation circuitry.

Connectivity

The transmitter can be connected to any pH or conductivity controller, recorder, PC or any data monitoring device that accepts 0 to 1 V, 0 to 4 V or 4 to 20 mA input.

Simple Design

Probes connectors, power supply, contacts, and calibration trimmers are easy to reach directly on the front panel

Versatile Use

For in-line applications, the recommended pH electrode is the HI1001 while the conductivity probe is the HI3001. HI1001 is a combined double junction pH electrode with BNC and 3m cable; HI3001 is a 4-ring conductivity probe with platinum sensors and an int
